This page explains, in plain language, how HeFlight makes money and what that means for you as a traveler.

HeFlight compares — our partners book

HeFlight shows you flight, hotel, and car offers gathered from third-party booking partners: airlines, hotels, car rental companies, travel agencies, and travel booking platforms. When you find an offer you like and continue past HeFlight, you leave our site and land on that partner's own website or app to finish booking and pay.

HeFlight may earn a commission

Some of our booking partners pay HeFlight a commission when a comparison on HeFlight leads to a completed booking with them. This is standard practice across the travel industry and is how HeFlight can offer free comparison without charging travelers directly.

This never changes your price

Any commission HeFlight earns comes from the booking partner, out of their own margin — it is never added on top of the price you're quoted. You pay the same price through HeFlight as you would booking directly with that partner.

How we choose what to show you

We aim to show offers ranked by relevance to your search — including price — across the partners we work with. Where a specific commission arrangement could influence ranking, we intend to say so. We do not accept payment to misrepresent a price or to hide a cheaper option we're aware of.

How we label freshness

Not every partner can return a guaranteed-current, instantly bookable price for every search. Where that's the case, we label the offer as cached (real data, not guaranteed current to the second) or indicative (a general estimate, not tied to a specific bookable offer) rather than presenting it as a live price. Only an offer explicitly marked live and bookable should be treated as a real-time, actionable price.
